Seven days through Coyhaique, Puerto Bertrand and Cochrane, with walks and boat trips around the Baker River.
Travel along the Carretera Austral from Balmaceda to Cochrane, exploring Chilean Patagonia’s history and the customs of its settlers. The route passes dense forests, mountains, glaciers, rivers and lakes. Walks offer opportunities to learn about the region’s geography, plants and wildlife. Designed as a study trip, the programme combines hiking, boat trips and informative talks about the region.
